HAL PENNER

Lead Pastor

Pastor Andy and his family have been part of TVC since it was planted in 1994. Sensing God’s call to enter full-time vocational ministry, he changed careers in the summer of 2000 and enrolled full-time at Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, completing a BA in Pastoral Ministry degree in May 2003. Before he received his call to full-time vocational ministry, Andy worked twelve and a half years for an Industrial Manufacturer, primarily in Sales & Marketing Management. Pastor Andy’s greatest passion is helping people of all ages become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ so that they can have the abundant life God has prepared for them and to equip others to do the same. He is primarily responsible for leading the staff and congregation to fulfill its mission through preaching, leading the church forward and developing other leaders. Andy & his wife Paula have three children: Kristen (Ryne) Davis, Daniel & Nathan, and one grandchild, Olivia Jo.

Bio

While studying architecture in college, Hal felt a call to ministry. He changed schools, changed his major to Psychology and added a second in Biblical and Religious Studies, and hasn't looked back since. Starting ministry in 1996, he spent his first 24 years as a youth pastor before transitioning to The Edge, where he has gone through several ministry positions, finally becoming our Lead Pastor.

He is passionate about leadership and the Bible as well as continuing to learn to see where God wants to stretch him while he leads our church to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Hal has been married since 1996, and together with his wife Geneva, they have two grown children (no grandchildren yet). He did start working on a Master of Theology but has yet to finish - we are on him to finish already!

While pastoring, he has been a volunteer fire fighter and Fire Chaplain, recently retiring after 26 years of service. He enjoys reading, exercising, spending time with his wife watching Hallmark movies, and working on his family farm. Being a Tall Bald Guy, he is easy to find in a crowd meeting new people and of course, telling stories.

Billy Shaw serves as the Associate Pastor at TheEdge, where he works alongside Lead Pastor Hal Penner to help guide our entire church community and all of its ministries. With a deep commitment to the spiritual growth and well-being of our congregation, Billy's leadership extends across all areas of church life. His collaborative approach and dedication to service make him an essential part of our team as we strive to fulfill our church's mission and vision.

Bio

Tobi moved to Weatherford in 2018 to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State and has faithfully attended TheEdge ever since! Tobi first became a Switch small group leader and took on various leadership roles throughout the years, eventually becoming Operations Team Leader. Tobi has recently returned to Southwestern to become a nurse, wanting to merge her love for counseling others and the healing ministry of Christ together.

As Operations Team Leader, she leads through the vision, planning, and execution of all special events including: Baptism, At The Movies, Sisters, 30 Second Theology, and more. Tobi’s ultimate prayer is that people feel seen, understood and appreciated at each experience, with the hope of presenting the gospel in an aesthetic, pleasing, and inspiring way. Every detail matters because every person matters and we truly believe that every special event is an opportunity to reach people for Christ!

Lorie Rivera

Bio

Lorie is the passionate Kid’s Pastor at The Edge Church, where she leads a team that creates dynamic, age-appropriate experiences that engage children in learning about God’s Word, building friendships, and growing in faith. With 27 years as a social worker at the Department of Human Services, she brings a deep understanding of children’s needs, advocating for vulnerable kids and creating a safe, nurturing space for spiritual, emotional, and social growth.

Lorie holds a Master of Arts in Religious Education with a concentration in Childhood Education from SWBTS in Ft. Worth, TX. Her mission is to partner with families in leading children to become fully devoted followers of Christ and build a strong, lasting foundation of faith.

Outside of ministry, Lorie enjoys spending time with family and finding new ways to connect with kids and families in the community.

HUNTER KREWALL

Bio

Hunter grew up in Clinton OK and spent a lot of his time dedicated to computers and technology throughout his life. He is mostly self taught in using Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro because of his deep passion to create. Outside of ministry, Hunter enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games, and hunting.

Everything that is produced and put in front of the public and our congregation is filtered through the creative lens of our Creative Media Team. Hunter and his team have a passion for sharing the vision, mission, and God's word through a variety of creative avenues including videography, photography, print and digital media.

STETSON GREEN

College and Missions Pastor

Stetson is passionate about equipping the next generation of leaders to boldly follow Christ and live out the gospel both locally and globally. With a heart for college students and a deep commitment to global outreach, Stetson believes in empowering young adults to discover their purpose in God's mission and engage in transformative ministry.

Stetson focuses on meeting people where they are—whether it's college students navigating a challenging season or individuals in need of support as they take their first steps into missions. His ministries are designed to walk alongside people, helping them grow in their faith and build a strong foundation for lasting transformation. Stetson believes in coming alongside each person, meeting them at their point of need, and guiding them toward spiritual maturity through intentional discipleship, community, and hands-on ministry experiences.

Stetson and his wife, Tobi, live in Weatherford OK, and when he's not leading college students or planning mission trips, you can find him enjoying time with family, exploring the outdoors, or cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders. His greatest joy is seeing people of all ages experience the life-changing love of Jesus.

Ashley plays a vital role in ensuring our office operations run smoothly. With over 20 years of leadership and management experience, Ashley combines excellent organizational skills with a passion for serving others. Whether she’s managing daily tasks, planning major events, or assisting her coworkers, friends, and family, she brings a positive attitude and a sincere desire to make a difference.

When she's not working behind the scenes or keeping our lead Pastor organized, Ashley is leading worship. Her love for music and her commitment to guiding others to Christ through song reflect her deep devotion to ministry. She also enjoys using her creative talents to engage and inspire our community through social media content creation.

As a devoted wife and proud mother of two, Ashley’s dedication to service extends to her family and the church. Spending time with her loved ones is a top priority—whether cheering her son on at the soccer field or enjoying fun outings at the park with her daughter. She is deeply passionate about making a positive impact, both at home and in the world, through her efforts to advance God’s Kingdom.

Tatum Cummings

Tatum Cummings is a dynamic Creative Media Associate at TheEdge, where she brings creativity, passion, and expertise to enhance the church's digital presence and storytelling efforts. With a deep understanding of multimedia production, visual design, and content strategy, Tatum plays a key role in crafting engaging yet inspiring content that connects with the church community both online and in person. Whether through sermon videos, social media campaigns, or promotional graphics, she works closely with the church leadership and creative team to support the church’s mission of sharing faith and building community.

Bailey Shaw

Switch Worship Leader

Bio

Bailey currently attends Southwestern Oklahoma State University as an Elementary Education major. Worship has always been a big part of Bailey’s life. Worshipping God through music and being in nature are the two ways she feels most connected to God. Bailey loves our youth ministry SWITCH and feels extremely humbled and grateful that God uses her to help lead students to Him through worship.

Courtney Williams

Axis Team Leader

Bio

Courtney was raised on a farm in a small town in the Oklahoma panhandle. In May 2024, she earned her degree in exercise science from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Unsure of what the future might hold, she embraced an unexpected opportunity to serve at TheEdge, where her journey in ministry began.

Courtney is passionate about walking alongside students in their faith journeys, whether through our college ministry's Axis nights, Bible studies, or one-on-one mentorships. Her work gives her the opportunity to share the gospel, build meaningful relationships, and create spaces where young adults can grow in their walk with Christ.

Outside of her ministry role, Courtney enjoys running, exploring the outdoors, binge-watching movies, and spending time with friends. She has a soft spot for a good dad joke and loves bringing laughter to those around her. Growing up on a farm in the Oklahoma panhandle, she values hard work and cherishes the simple joys of life.

Courtney discovered her calling to inspire and guide the next generation 11 years ago when she began serving in the children’s ministry. With a heart for nurturing the spiritual growth of children, Courtney believes in creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment where young hearts can explore their faith. In her role at The Edge Church, Courtney handles technology, leader communication, and social media posts. She effectively communicates with families and ensures that the children’s ministry is well-organized, safe, and the perfect learning environment for our young children. Courtney has a passion for helping lead children in becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.
